Celebrating 40 Years of NWSCDC

NWSCDC is honored to be celebrating 40 years of community economic development in Milwaukee! Founded in 1983, NWSCDC has been dedicated to creating economic opportunities, building partnerships and strengthening communities on the Northwest Side of Milwaukee for four decades.

The organization will commemorate this significant milestone with an evening Gala event taking place at Saint Kate - The Arts Hotel on September 13th, 2023. The theme for the evening is: Rethinking Comm(unity) Development, with emphasis on unity as it takes every one of us to advance this work. Todd Greene, an Urban Institute fellow and the executive director of WorkRise, will deliver the keynote conversation. It will be a lively night full of celebration and gratitude for the community.  We hope to see you there!
