Building a Little Free Library at Samuel Clemens school!

Principal Dinkins at Samuel Clemens school had long dreamed to place a Little Free Library at the school to encourage neighborhood beautification and year-round reading. After meeting last fall, Northwest Side CDC wanted to help make this wish a reality. Volunteer help was provided by Imago Dei Church, who creatively built the Little Free Library out of a repurposed speaker box. 5th graders at Samuel Clemens assisted the organizing team in decorating the library to fit their tiger themed school colors and energetic spirits.We're glad to be working together in the Lincoln Creek neighborhood with great partners!
