Snyder expects to remain on through the end of this year at least while the CDC seeks a new executive director. After stepping down from that leadership role, Snyder said he would like to remain involved in some initiatives, such as conceptual planning to leverage Milwaukee’s north-south rail corridors to spur new transportation connections and development.

“We are just in the re-imagining phase,” he said. “I’d like to be a part of that.”
