NWSCDC Awarded Community Economic Development Grant

The Northwest Side CDC (NWSCDC) has been awarded a 2015 Community Economic Development grant of $800,000 from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Office of Community Services.The funding will support the expansion of SIC Lazaro, a manufacturing business on the Northwest side of Milwaukee. The expansion will create 40 new full-time jobs. The funds will be leveraged by an additional $300,000 from the Milwaukee Economic Development Corporation (MEDC).Click here to find out more about the award.
