NWSCDC Featured in Community Development textbook

NWSCDC is featured in a new textbook titled "Navigating Community Development: Harnessing Comparative Advantages to Create Strategic Partnerships" by Zdenek and Walsh.  Howard Snyder and long-time partners of NWSCDC including Alan Perlstein, Yvonne McCaskill and Rich Gross were interviewed for a case study on the transformation of NWSCDC over its 34+ year history.The book profiles community development organizations and strategies from across the country, including many Community Development Corporations (CDCs), Community Development Finance Institutions (CDFIs), affordable housing developers, and large national organizations like Enterprise and LISC.  Bob Zdenek is a past president of the National Congress for Community Economic Development, and Dee Walsh has decades of executive experience in CDC management.  Both authors have served on multiple boards of local and national community development organizations.
